The COVID-19 pandemic has put the spotlight on a health-care catastrophe that has been plaguing rural BC for years.
“Now we have been combating recruitment and retention, with adequate physicians, nurses, midwives, for 20 years,” talked about Dr. Jude Kornelsen, with the UBC Center for Rural Evaluation.
“Now we have been combating adequate affected particular person transport from their group to a much bigger centre.”
